Tithi Afroz, Boalia, Naogaon, Bangladesh
Ms. Afroza Khanum Tithi was born on 31 December 1987 in Boalia, Naogaon, Bangladesh. Her pen name is Tithi Afroze.
She is the editor of the little magazine `DHULIPATH’ and author of three poetry books: 'Chondopotoner Shobdo', Urar Koushol and Tithir Tirish'.
An anthology of her poems translated in English named 'The Blind God' will be published soon.
Her poems have been published in renowned literary magazines and daily newspapers of Dhaka, Toronto, London and Kolkata.
Tithi Afroze is also an activist working for women empowerment and an organizer of little magazine movement in Bangladesh while she is a government official working in the power sector.
She also attended many poetry and literary festivals at home and abroad. She has been awarded Kobi Jushimuddin Smriti Puroskar in 2016.
